INSIDE The River House

The River House is a 1950’s property, initially built by a Tasmanian tea trader returning from “Ceylon”, and further developed by a subsequent owner in the mid 1980’s.  The current owners, Carl and Helen, purchased The River House in 2003 with the intention of developing it as boutique hosted accommodation.

The final internal development wascompleted in November 2010 with the addition of the King Suite. We can now offer luxury accommodation for nine guests (with the help of a sofa bed if needed) and provide restful spaces both inside and outside, offering a variety of relaxing activities.
